Do your children attend Bryn Celynnog or Y Pant or a feeder Primary for one of these schools?

Then your child’s right to choose where to undertake post 16 education is under threat.

Rhondda Cynon Taff are proposing to close 6th forms across the Borough, replacing them instead with Tertiary Colleges.

In addition, proposals are underway to close some primary schools and create schools for 3 – 16 year olds.

COME AND JOIN THE FIGHT TO SAVE OUR CHILDRENS EDUCATIONAL CHOICES.

This Action Group has been set up by parents of children attending Gwauncelyn Primary School to fight these proposals, as all primary age children will be affected by these plans. We believe the proposals will be detrimental to our current children’s and future pupil’s education and well being with little or no thought being given by the Authority on the consequences of such radical proposals.
